Del Borrello Hits The Ground Running
By STEVE KUSH
Woodbury - Republican freeholder candidate Chris Del Borrello has wasted no time in getting his campaign for Gloucester County freeholder off the ground. Since being unanimously chosen to run for freeholder by the GCREC less than a week ago Del Borrello has kept a tight campaign schedule knocking on doors and attending event every day.
"It's amazing to see how fast this campaign has come together," Republican freeholder candidate Chris Del Borrello said. "Last week on Thursday I was chosen as a candidate, we organized on Friday, and the phone banks are up and running and volunteers are already in place and knocking doors with me. Literally thousands of phone calls were made over the weekend and we've knocked on hundreds of doors through the weekend and yesterday."
"At every door I knock I'm hearing the same thing from voters, they are tired of a rubber stamp Freeholder Board and are ready for a change," Del Borrello added. "They want a Freeholder board that relates to them, a Freeholder board that understands how hard it is to make ends meet and will do something about fighting to reduce the tax burden and county government spending while making government open and accessible to the average citizen."
"Many of the voters I meet while visiting their homes think the freeholder-director is running for re-election because he is the only one they ever see in the paper," Del Borrello said. "It'll be interesting to see what happens when Bob Damminger and Joe Chilla change their strategy of remaining silent and start talking about the issues."
"I'm ready to give the voters of Gloucester County the open, honest dialogue on the issues they deserve and I invite Bob Damminger and Joe Chilla to join me," Del Borrello remarked.

Del Borrello Ready To Talk Issues With Opponents
By STEVE KUSH
Woodbury - Republican freeholder candidate Chris Del Borrello said he was excited at the prospect of kicking his campaign into high gear.
"Obviously, the first thing my campaign team did after being chosen to run for freeholder was research our opponents," GOP freeholder candidate Chris Del Borrello said. "Unfortunately, other than their marching in lock-step with the freeholder-director in their votes on the freeholder board we don't know if they have any opinions of their own."
"Nearly every issue that affects the residents of Gloucester County, over 10% unemployment, ever increasing property tax bills, jobs leaving the county and friends and families being forced to move out of the county is talked about by only the freeholder-director," Del Borrello added. "I'd be curious to hear if my opponents have their own thoughts on what we have to do collectively as a county to change things for the better."
"I know if I am fortunate enough to be elected I will fight to hold the line on taxes, I will find ways to create incentives to keep jobs and families in Gloucester County and I will do whatever I can to ensure the residents of this county know where every nickel of their tax dollars is spent because a transparent government is an honest government." Del Borrello stated.
"I sincerely look forward to an aggressive debate of ideas that will change Gloucester County for the better. The only question left unanswered is whether or not Bob Damminger and Joe Chilla will join me." Del Borrello said.
